Applicable Models

1999-2005 BMW 3 Series E46

Please confirm the car radio's power cable connector in center console. There are 3 types of connectors:
①
17-pin connector, but 4 pins indicated by red arrow are empty. Not suitable for installation.
17-pin connector and doesn't have the empty pins in the same place like picture 1. The unit can be installed directly.
②
40-pin connector. The unit can be installed directly.
③

Blue & white connector. You need to check the connector in the trunk.

If the connector in the trunk is 17 pin, but 4 pins are empty (like picture 1 above), it's not suitable for installation.

If the connector in the trunk is 17 pin (like picture 2 above) or 40 pin (like picture 3 above), Eonon A0590 extension harness (not included) is required to install the unit.

You can find the the power cable connector in the trunk at these positions.

AC Relocation

If the air conditioning control panel of your car is located like the picture on the left, you need to remove it and install it in the position as shown in the right picture.
