Applicable Models

2005-2011 BMW 3 Series E90/E91/E92/E93

If your car dashboard is suitable for installation, please check your car radio's power cable connector located in the center console.

If your factory car radio plug has 8 speaker wires like the picture on the left, the unit can be installed directly.

If your factory car radio plug doesn't have 8 speaker wires like the picture on the left, you need the A0581 decoder box (not included) for installation.

If your car has the iDrive system and a LCD screen, it's not compatible with Eonon car stereo.

Note: If your factory car radio has an optical fiber input, after installing the new radio, the dashboard screen may display an SOS prompt. But it will not impact the performance of the stereo.

After removing the factory car radio, you can install the air conditioning control panel using the mounting bracket provided with the Eonon car radio.

If you want to keep the functionality of factory buttons (as shown in the left picture), an ashtray button relocation kit (not included) is required for installation.

Use your iPhone while driving in a smarter & safer way. (iPhone can be connected via Apple lightning cable or Bluetooth. Compatible with iPhone 5 and later.)

Android Auto

Is it possible to set a lock screen password function like a phone?

The lock screen password function is not supported by the unit. If need to set a lock screen password, please install a third-party application through Google Play.

What kind of backup camera is compatible?

Eonon Android car stereos supports 1080P/720P AHD backup cameras with RCA interface and CVBS/PAL/NTSC video signals.

My car has Bluetooth and a microphone. Can I use my microphone for Bluetooth?

No. After installation, Eonon car stereo uses its own Bluetooth and microphone and is not compatible with the ones of your car.

Does it support the seat heating function of the original car?

You can control the seat heating with the pre-installed Car settings app of the Eonon car stereo, or retain the original car seat heating button with a ashtray kit like this:
